Parent/Child Senior/Junior Tournament – 26 Nov
Junior Club Night for T4
Junior club night has started for T4 2023! This is free for all Junior members. We welcome visitors coming to give it a go to see if its for you – touch base with Jan our club manager and she will make sure someone is expecting you to show you around.
Club Night starts at 6pm every Friday night (except long weekends).
We have a coach on court from 6-7pm. All kids are welcome but preschoolers and kids that have no previous tennis experience do need a parent on court with them,
Pizzas $5 a head. Parents, come and enjoy a drink on the deck, the bar is open and its a great chance to meet other members.
Thanks to Doug & Sandy Hayr
From humble beginnings at the very start when Doug and Sandy Hayr secured our first set of Community Play / Hot shot equipment, they have worked tirelessly over many years giving their time on countless Saturday mornings, with the help of volunteers, to steadily grow the numbers of our young participants. Yesterday we had 32 budding young tennis players on court for the first session of the season!!!
After many years of dedicated volunteerism to build the junior base, they have decided to hang up their Hot Shots rackets and hand over the mantle to the next bunch of volunteers to continue driving this junior initiative.
MBTC would like to extend a huge thanks to Doug and Sandy for their immense contribution who have poured their hearts and souls into this program.

What you need to know:
- Open to all levels – where possible, if numbers allow, we will have an A and B Grade. If you’re not sure which you should sign up for, just ask!
- Want to play but need help finding a partner? No problem! Just let us know (you can also mention on the form), and we will do our best to find you one.
- There will be a consolation (plate) draw, so even if you lose the first round, you’re guaranteed to play another match.
- AVAILABILITY: You need to make yourself available, for the whole day of the 29th October (men’s/womens’s) and 12th November (mixed). Matches are often scheduled from ~9am (however we may start earlier, if we get a larger number of entries – we will give you as much notice on this as possible). With so many matches to schedule, unfortunately we are not able to work around individual schedules.
- Rain out day: In the event of rain, we will make the call on the morning of. Rain out day is 5th December (Doubles) & November 19th (Mixed).
Club Champs (both Doubles and Singles) is always a great event to both watch and participate in, so we encourage as many of you as possible to sign up and get involved!
