MBTC on TVNZ+ Breakfast
Love Tennis Promotion
Friday 6th September between 6am - 9am

We are excited to announce that Mission Bay Tennis Club has been selected by Tennis NZ as the venue to promote this year's Love Tennis on TVNZ+ Breakfast on Friday 6th September 6am - 9am!
(Note: Details to be confirmed by TVNZ+ and Tennis NZ by end of day Monday 2nd)!

This is the first and only occasion that Tennis NZ has successfully managed to secure a spot on Breakfast TV, so is an incredible win for MBTC!
|
The catch is, that we need to create the Love Tennis experience at MBTC for the segment! This means replicating what we have planned for Sunday 8th September on Friday 6th September! You'd be crazy not to WANT TO HELP!
If you haven't already noticed, we have a lot going on for Love Tennis at MBTC:
|
- On Court Activities: Coaching, Hit the Target, Try the Ball Machine, Champion of the Court, Free-Play.
- Off Court Activities: Bouncy Castle, Face-Painting, Photo Booth, Kids Corner, Free Shoulder Massage, Baked Goods, Coffee Truck, BBQ, Ice-Cream Truck and a fully stocked Bar.
Whilst we can't replicate all of these for the segment, the minimum requirements are to make the Club look great, fill the Courts and Club House and host the BBQ! So, if you love your tongs, let us know and bring them along.

We need your HELP for the TVNZ+ Breakfast segment on Friday 6th September in the following ways please:

HELP to Decorate the Club on Tuesday 3rd and/or Wednesday 4th September
|

HELP with On Court Activities (including simply filling the Courts and Playing Tennis!) on Friday 6th September 6am - 9am
|

HELP with Off Court Activities (including simply socialising and having fun in the Club House !) Friday 6th September 6am - 9am
|
Essentially, we need MBTC to be as busy as our most successful FUN events ever, combined!

Only once we have the TVNZ+ Breakfast details confirmed:

- We will also encourage you to bring your friends, family, work, school, sports-teams, community workers too, as Love Tennis is all about bringing the Community to the Courts!
- We will also be engaging with the local school, government agencies etc. businesses and suppliers to try to get them behind us and turn up on the TVNZ+ Breakfast morning and Love Tennis Day itself.
- We will provide a further update to Members and contact Volunteers who have registered.
