Playing with guests
We welcome and encourage all guests to the club to enjoy our courts.
|
If you are playing with a guest, please add them to your booking. Its only $10 per hour.
|
|
If you are making the court booking it is your responsibility to ensure your guest is included and paid for in the booking.
|
|
|
|

Junior Sub Committee
|
We have had a couple of parents express their interest in joining a sub-committee to help shape our junior programme. If you would be interested in having a say and helping to grow juniors at MBTC we would love to hear from you.

With Summer coming up get in touch with Geoff Beech Tennis if you would like to spruce up your game with some coaching.

Currently the parking bays near the chargers are not dedicated EV only parking bays.
|
|
|
EV Chargers
Mission Bay Tennis Club has 3 EV chargers installed which are currently not set to user-pays. The chargers are for the use of members, paying visitors and guests (interclub players from other clubs)
|
Fair Use Policy
The EV chargers are for use while on-site playing tennis to provide the convenience of a top-up charge. They are not intended for extended charging while off-site, or overnight charging.
|
Please ensure the handles are placed back in the cradle and the power cord coiled back on the holder and not left in the parking area where it could get damaged.
|
PLEASE NOTE: These are not Council-owned or installed chargers, they belong to MBTC and were kindly funded (supply and install) by TESLA and installed by AB Electrical.
While currently free to use (they will eventually move to a user-pays system), we operate on a high-trust model regards fair use. MBTC reserves the right to deactivate if fair use is breached.

Club Night Every Wed @ 7pm
Even though it's been cold Club night is still happening every Wednesday night from 7pm.
|
Come and enjoy the sunsets and join Jono on court 3 for some coaching and games between 7 and 8pm.
|
Jan will be there to welcome you. The bar is always open and we would love to see you down there for some social tennis.

It's a great friendly introduction for those of you who are getting Rusty Rackets coaching to get more practices playing games.

Love Tennis & Maizie Munro Tournament
|
On Sunday, 10th September, we have our MBTC Love Tennis Open Day. We are in the early stages of planning the day and, in the upcoming weeks, will be putting up sign-up forms around the Club for people to help show how fabulous MBTC is to the community and potential new members. It's a fun morning with many activities, followed by our Maizie Munro Social Tournament.
